Guest Services Officer (Club Lounge)

Your welcoming smile provides true hospitality to our guests at the Club Lounge. The moment a guest enters the hotel, they will be amazed by the exceptional service provided by our frontline colleagues. As a Guest Services Officer (Club Lounge), you’ll be responsible for the aspects of the Food & Beverage function to deliver a memorable service to guests that exceeds their expectations. You’ll also assist to create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location and achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction to current and future VIPs.


A little taste of your day-to-day


Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Preparing buffet set-up for breakfast and evening cocktail and provide host or hostess service to our club paying guest at the Club Lounge
  • Maintaining cashier float, ensuring accurate daily report of money received and performing audit balances in accordance to accounting policies and procedures
  • Conducting daily beverage inventory and other inventories as required by management prior to closing the Club Lounge for the day
  • Greeting all guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest’s name at every opportunity
  • Preparing buffet set-up for breakfast and evening cocktail
  • Providing host or hostess service to our club paying guest at the Club Lounge
  • Attending to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests and if there is a complaint that needs assistance, refer to the Guest Relations & Club Lounge Manager or the Duty Manager
  • Coordinating with other departments to provide excellent service delivery
  • Performing check in, check out and room change procedures and ensures all data are entered completely into the hotel systems in accordance with reservation
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the Club Lounge and the pantry area
  • Taking personal interest and pride to ensure that the working area and stations are kept clean and orderly
  • Maintaining standard of behaviour, appearance and attitude in accordance to the hotel's brand

What we need from you

  • A minimum qualification in GCE O levels
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluency in spoken English language. Knowledge in an extra language skill would be great, but not essential
  • Motivated individual with a friendly personality
  • Strong knowledge on Singapore and places for recommendation to business travellers/ tourists in creating a memorable hotel experience for them
  • Strong interpersonal skills
