Job Overview

The objectives are to proactively develop and publish informative actionable financial analysis to aid decision making, and drive improvement in financial performance. Financial analysis covers a range of subject matters driven by business needs, time frames and should be prescriptive and/or predictive. The successful FP&A manager provides analytical interpretation, highlights planning implications and recommends actions. FP&A Manager owns the planning cycle: Strategy Deck, Budget, Forecast, Actual. The role is also the custodian of certain periodic reports and standardized financial models and templates used by the Division for investment evaluation and planning. These reports and models are continuously reviewed, maintained and enhanced to meet changing business requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Review and interpretation of historical financial results, diagnostics of deficiencies, recommendations
  • Preparation of medium to long term financial projections, planning implications and recommendations
  • Validation and assessment of CER project financial projections and business case
  • Holistic monitoring of financial performance including returns on assets and invested capital
  • Lead the Group annual PNL and Cash Flow Planning cycle.
  • Coordinate Capital Expenditure budgeting and planning, including pipeline reviews
  • Introduce improvements to metrics for measuring financial performance adapting them to evolving business and organizational requirements
  • Maintain various tools and templates for investment evaluation and planning as designated in SFPs in Finance Portal e.g. CER financial model, Cash Flow Projection, etc.
  • Develop new financial analysis and decision-making tools to respond to business needs.
  • Business Partner to Global Portfolio Management team, Oversight of PAC/CER P&Ls

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years relevant experience in FP&A or Controllership in Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in complex/matrix organisation
  • Experience working in a public listed company is desired.
  • Creative with advance proficiency in Excel and data analytics. Proficiency in PBI is an advantage.
