Work Hours:Monday to thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday : 7.30am to 4.00pm ( 1 Hr Lunch break)
Contract Period: 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024
Job Responsibility :
i. To design and implement an ICT Training Programme for P1-P6 pupils based on MOE Revised Baseline ICT standards. Please submit a sample of ICT plan and or lesson plan carried out in school(s) before. Experience with Student Learning Space (SLS) will be an advantage.
ii. ICT Trainer need to work closely with HOD ICT to plan and implement ICT programme for pupils.
iii. To work closely with HODs of the various departments and subject level representatives to run the ICT Training Programme and training schedule.
iv. Assists in other ICT related matters, facilitating and preparing pupils for ICT related competitions during the non-coaching hours.
v. Must be capable of developing content resources for teaching purposes during non-coaching hours.
vi. To assist with refreshing and renewing school’s website contents. Having basic/intermediate HTML knowledge would be an added advantage
vii. To plan and carry out simple coding lessons to P3-P6 students for ICT club which incorporates SEL skills in students. The end product will be featured in school website and part of school’s activity.
viii. The IT trainer will also need to assist the school to design and create media graphic posters and videos for school events during the non-coaching hours. Please submit samples of personal digital art piece(s) for reference. ix. To be in charge of photography and videography for school’s events and classroom lesson observations Proficiency in photo/video editing software and handling of photography equipment
x. To be able to work on weekend upon request (only during school’s major event such as Open House)
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Diploma in Infocomm and Technology / Multi Media / Graphic Design or of similar programme.
- Have experience in conducting ICT lessons in Singapore Primary Schools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Words, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Google Suite apps for Education
- Excellent photography and videography skills.
- Proficient in video and graphic editing software
- Proficient with HTML for website publication.
- Experience with graphic design is preferred.
- Proficient in MakeCode Arcade and is able to design lessons which incorporate SEL skills in students.
- Familiar with Baseline ICT Skills and Digital Literacy, able to plan ICT programmes for the school
