Key responsibilities
- Create visually stunning artwork and graphics for our board games, including but not limited to game boards, cards, components, and packaging.
- Design graphics and visuals for our social media platforms, newsletters, and website, ensuring a cohesive and engaging online presence.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, content and marketing team to ensure that your designs seamlessly integrate with the game's theme and concept.
- Develop and maintain design standards for the company, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual brand identity.
- Apply a good understanding of UX/UI principles to enhance user experiences on board game design.
- Manage and oversee the printing process, ensuring that the final products meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Stay updated on design trends and technologies relevant to graphic design, UX/UI, and printing in the board game industry.
- Assist in any workshops and events that the company might conduct and/or participate.
- Any other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills for both print and digital media.
- A good understanding of UX/UI principles and their application in design.
- A passion in playing board games and a willingness to explore the world of tabletop gaming.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and AI tools like Midjourney.
- Strong creativity and the ability to translate game themes and concepts into visually stunning assets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
- Experience overseeing the printing process and ensuring high-quality print materials.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality graphic designs that enhance the overall board game experience and online presence.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus skills
- Digital illustration and/or animation skills.
- Basic HTML knowledge to maintain the company’s website on a website builder platform.
