- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Assist head chef in the planning of duty roster for kitchen staffs
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Controlling budgets and minimizing wastage
- Guide, train and motivate kitchen staffs to work more efficiently and effectively
- Work with team to create and develop new dishes to attract more customers
- Ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and adhere to health and safety standards
- Able to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for customers
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
