Be at the forefront of Insurtech in Singapore. You will be the IT Business Partner taking charge of digital business and digital technology office. You will lead and manage strong in-house team that take cares of all the online business, including ecommerce portals, mobile apps, micro insurance, and marketing related applications such as campaigns in Income Insurance Limited.
Your valuable experience will play a key role and act as the Strategic Partner for all related IT digital matters and projects (e.g. e-commerce, Snacks, Income Mobile App), as well as, serving proactively as a trusted advisor and the single point of contact for IT to EXCOM Members. Overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with Digital Technology Office for the purpose of Information Technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The IT Business Partner serves as the business relationship link between business units and IT.
Provide both tactical & Strategic leadership in a matrix organization structure for both BAU & key IT initiatives. Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of product owners, delivery managers, business analyst, solution architects and software engineers
- Holds the vision for product, represents business interests and customers, owns and prioritizes product backlog, creates acceptance criteria and answers the queries from team/stakeholders.
- Act as the IT business face and directs team towards most valuable work to maximize ROI.
- Collaborating with and supporting the technical team analysis, design, development, and implementation.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog
- Ensure clear and concise technical communications and documentations to the team and other stakeholders of the project.
- Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed.
- Translating product managers’ strategies to tasks for development
- Learning the market and customers’ needs and translate it to tasks for development
- Accountable for the portfolio you managed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of experience in Software Development and Produc Development
- Experience with functioning within agile teams
- Working knowledge of product development architecture and understanding of design quality standards
- Experience in project management and leading a delivery team
- Demonstrated leadership in elaborating or influencing high level plans in a changing environment.
- Experience managing matrix capabilities, as well as, managing diverse teams and projects.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, and are outcome-focused and solution oriented.
- Ability to understand, analyze and identify IT digital solutions towards business challenges and needs.
