Job Description:
- Assist line manager in handling procurement matter, checking of purchase orders raised, order confirmation and invoices from supplier
- Coordinate with the shipping companies, checking of shipping details, status and GST payment
- Coordinate with insurance companies, relating to marine insurance and claims
- Coordinate with bank on preparation of bank document example LC application, shipping guarantee.
- Handle import documentation.
- Coordinate, process and expedite the relevant shipping documents for import shipping clearance
- Monitoring and updating internal customers on the cargoes estimated arrival date
- Liaise and coordinate with Logistics Department on delivery schedule and inventory matters
- Attend to internal customers enquiries regarding shipping and procurement
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC
· Customer-focused and service-oriented
· Possess strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in both English and Mandarin – to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates and customers.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office
