CLINIC ASSISTANT INTERM

NTERNship Description:

This position reports to the Clinic Manager/MEDICAL DIRECTOR and interfaces with medical professionals in the specialist center to facilitate seamless healthcare delivery and value-add to the professional healthcare team by supporting day-to-day clinical operations and performing administrative tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in administrative activities of making appointment for patients, recording of necessary personnel and medical information
  2. Counsel patient financially in the management and investigations
  3. Calling patients to remind them of the future appointment and talking to them about their needs, desire and requirement for the management process
  4. Assisting in caring for the patients before, during and after the investigations
  5. Perform minor diagnostic procedures and sterilize equipment

Competencies to learn:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients
  2. Good time management skills to perform multiple tasks as directed by healthcare professionals
  3. Administrative skills to perform front-desk duties such as patient registration, appointments, billing
  4. Experience in Healthcare, possessing prior knowledge of healthcare practices and standards is preferred

Duration of Attachment Offered: 6 mths

Qualifications: Min 'O' Levels

Eligibility Criteria for SGUP-EA: All Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for the programme, with the exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead.
