NTERNship Description:
This position reports to the Clinic Manager/MEDICAL DIRECTOR and interfaces with medical professionals in the specialist center to facilitate seamless healthcare delivery and value-add to the professional healthcare team by supporting day-to-day clinical operations and performing administrative tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting in administrative activities of making appointment for patients, recording of necessary personnel and medical information
- Counsel patient financially in the management and investigations
- Calling patients to remind them of the future appointment and talking to them about their needs, desire and requirement for the management process
- Assisting in caring for the patients before, during and after the investigations
- Perform minor diagnostic procedures and sterilize equipment
Competencies to learn:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients
- Good time management skills to perform multiple tasks as directed by healthcare professionals
- Administrative skills to perform front-desk duties such as patient registration, appointments, billing
- Experience in Healthcare, possessing prior knowledge of healthcare practices and standards is preferred
Duration of Attachment Offered: 6 mths
Qualifications: Min 'O' Levels
Eligibility Criteria for SGUP-EA: All Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for the programme, with the exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead.
