about the job
- Develop & design of optics and vision system
- TecDesign, development and application of precision optics for vision system
- Develop algorithms of interferometric data processing and image processing
- Design, prototype and test the data acquisition and motion control systems
- Document design, testing and diagnosis procedures
- Provide subsystem design specification, system integration and characterization, algorithms development
- Improve the optical performance and laser stability
- Resolve optical / illumination issues
- Support and lead the early involvement with suppliers in technology and NPI programs
skills & experience required
- PhD / Master / Degree in optics / optical Sciences / laser & photonics / precision engineeirng / physics / metrology engineering or equivalent
- Min 3 years of experience in Optics / Optoelectronics industrial design will be consider for senior role
- Knowledge / Hands on experience with optical & interferometer based image / Collimators designs
- Prior experience with optical modeling and simulation tools, such as Zemax or TracePro
- Good understanding of imaging processing system and algorithms
- Knowledge and experience in 3D optical image processing, high magnification optics
- Understand optics & optical system layout constraints and interactions
- Hands on different types of optical methodologies for optics performance testing
- Training given to candidate with no experience
