Lead a team to deliver first class service.

As a Production Manager you’re to manage the daily operations of chemical plant, ensuring reliability and consistency on the chemical production line which includes service shops. You’ll be involved in discussions with other functions and teams regards to improvement of processes and procedures at a global level. This position is based in our chemical plant located Jurong Island, Singapore.

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

· Driving “Perfect HSE Day” campaign across the production Team. Ensuring safe operating environment for all stake holders with constant support towards company’s commitment on continuous improvement on health, safety, and environmental performance.

· Being responsible for all aspects of production in the chemical plant, including site staffing, recruitment, production, scheduling, and shipping priorities.

· Maximizing product yields and effectively utilizes manpower and equipment on the various shifts.

· Ensuring equipment are maintained at good operating condition and employees are trained accordance to standard operating procedures.

· Reviewing recommendations that relate to equipment upgrading, replacement or additions. Assisting on developments of new designs, installation of new equipment and implementation of old or new processes.

· Driving “Perfect Quality Day” concept in production function. Promoting Quality process and implements controls which lead to capable processes. Committed to the Quality Improvement Process.

· Planning strategies to ensure error free at work by "doing it right the first time" and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties.

· Participating in continuous improvement projects to develop and implement action plans as required.

· Being responsible for utilities optimization and waste reduction. Direct programs for pollution control and energy conservation.

· Directing and implementing effective programs for waste minimization, recycling, pollution control, environmental compliance, energy conservation and public safety.

Fuel your passion.

To be successful in this role you will:

· Have bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

· Have extensive engineering experience in Chemical Manufacturing

· 5 - 10 years of related chemical production experience. (Batch manufacturing or Energy Service Chemicals manufacturing experience is a plus)

· Have current or previous experience in managing a team.

· Have good oral and written communication, good interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Have ability to influence others and lead multicultural team.

· Have effective problem identification and solution skills.

· Have good track record of analytical and organizational ability.
