Responsibilities:
- Utilize an existing client base and develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Stay informed about global movements in the oil/energy market, conduct research and analysis of markets, monitor the supply and demand of bunker supply, and identify business opportunities.
- Have a solid understanding of the International Bunker business, including ports, suppliers, owners, charterers, and regulations.
- Possess knowledge of the oil market and pricing strategies for marine fuel, as well as knowledge of the maritime shipping industry.
- Create effective marketing materials to promote services and communicate the value proposition to both new and existing customers.
- Manage a customer portfolio, taking direct responsibility for negotiating and executing sales transactions, from quoting to delivery, as well as providing post-delivery service and support.
- Monitor customer usage of company credit lines, track payment performance, and assist with collections when necessary.
- Handle disputes or claims resolution in the event of disagreements or claims.
- Assist in the development of junior staff and trainees.
- Adhere closely to the company’s group policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in business or a related marketing field, or possess an equivalent professional qualification.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Sales/Marketing role.
- Candidates with a background in the oil and gas industry will have an additional advantage.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong persuasion abilities and clear expression of ideas.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal relationship skills.
- Have strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-up abilities.
- Be proficient in MS Office.
