Job Description
- Conduct daily WSH inspection to ensure total compliance to MOM regulations and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct daily toolbox with the subcontractors.
- Ensure all workers at plants are wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by the subcontractors on daily basis.
- Following up on all outstanding safety related issues.
- Conduct weekly safety talk / briefing.
- Conduct regular safety checks to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with safety requirements.
- Accountable for investigation, analysing and determining the cause of accidents or negligence, if any, during work process.
- Make recommendations on work processes improvement and means of preventing a recurrence
- Participate in WSH compliance inspections.
- Conduct safety inductions and orientations.
- Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
- Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
- Compiles all relevant reports and records.
- Other Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Minimum ITE/ Diploma or equivalent.
- Min 1 Years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry, preferred M&E.
- Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
- Professional certification in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent preferred
- Good team player, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and good problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge in ISO and OSHA safety standards
