Assistant Relationship Manager

Job Purpose :

To support Financial Institutions, Public Sector, and Transaction Banking Head and team to expand and develop business relationships with Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI).

To support the team and work closely with Relationship Managers in the branch and internal stakeholders for promoting cash management, internet banking and transaction banking solutions to clients in the branch, tracking progress and preparing reports.



Job Responsibilities :


  • Work closely with Financial Institutions, Public Sector and Transaction Banking Head and team in developing and maintaining business relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Actively participating in the marketing and selling of products and services offered by the bank to the clients and to work with product and risk partners to maximize the total revenues from the team’s portfolio
  • Assist the team in customer inquiries and/or transactions related to account balances, deposit renewals, loan rollovers, foreign exchange, etc
  • Support and attend to daily activities of NBFI and FI client base so as to enhance the revenue contribution from foreign exchange, cash management, trade finance, and syndication loan transactions.
  • Prepare documents for account opening, credit review, KYC, and triggers for the team’s portfolio.
  • Support the Head of Financial Institutions, Public Sector and Transaction Banking on managing client portfolio and meeting the overall revenue growth of the portfolio as per annual budget growth as agreed by Head of WBD.



Job Requirements :

  • Diploma / University Degree holder in Banking, Finance, and Business related discipline
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and follow through
  • Able to speak and write Chinese to handle Chinese clients
