Project Engineer (M&E) - Major in Electrical Engineering
1. Report to the Project Manager.
2. Manage site day-to-day operations in accordance with the Project Manager’s instruction.
3. Responsible for site team & sub-contractor under his charge.
4. Assist the Project Manager in planning the project and coordination of labour and material to be utilized at the site.
5. Maintain good relationships with site workers, contractors and suppliers.
6. Ensure day-to-day construction site operation, including planning, cost control, shop drawing submission & approval.
7. Ensure that any change in the project plan is executed by the contractor.
8. Establish the interdepartmental relationship to manage massive Excel spreadsheet content for:
(a) reporting of engineering resource needs relative to current and forecasting the pending works;
(b) progressive claim and report for main-con and consultant;
(c) progressive response to relevant sub-con and justify their work done;
9. Ensure work progress is on schedule & handover deadline is met on time.
10. Ensure all work done is in accordance with Safety and Health Standards and the procedure to be adopted at the site.
11. Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the Project Manager.
12. Ensure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazardous chemicals or objects.
