Job Overview:
Working with our partner for international expansion, underlying systems and processes across Asia.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Market Research and Analysis;
- Analyzing the business needs of the market to adjust app and product features to the target audience;
- Preparing the app and product needs for each market that we launch;
- Expansion Strategy Development, Planning, and Delivery;
- Developing a detailed expansion plan that includes business analysis of app and technology to fit the expansion market needs, target customer base, path to entry, and timelines;
- Hiring the local team that will take over the market (shared with RGM and Recruiting);
- Formulating the first 180 day intra-market expansion plan and transitioning ownership to the local team;
- Compliance and Regulatory Support;
- Analyzing the current app and product features regarding the markets that we are launching.
- Localization and Adaptation; Gathering feedback from operators and customers on the User and Operator apps, sharing bugs and new feature ideas with the developers, and preparing post-launch documentation;
- Team Management and Development, Business Development, and Relationship Building;
- Overseeing the Asia Expansion team, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management; and
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with orb operators, local partners, vendors, and regulators
- Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities which further Worldcoin’s mission in the city/country of launch.

● You have operated on a global scale. You understand what it takes to grow a global initiative to find Orb Operators in Asia.
● You have strong cross-cultural competency. You are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and countries and have experience working in cross-cultural environments.
● You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
● You can make high-stakes decisions. You are not afraid to make decisions under pressure that could have significant implications for the entire company.
● You’re innovative. You love coming up with solutions to unconventional problems and taking action.
● You’re an effective communicator. You have strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple, diverse stakeholders. Superior written communication skills are also a must.
● You’re analytical. You use data to inform your decision-making and know what kind of data you need and how to get it.
● Experience. You have 5+ years of relevant operations experience. You have experience running gig-based, supply-side launches from the ground up. Ideally, you have worked as a Launcher before and have relevant managerial experience.
