Looking out for a HR specialist to be part of HR team to control and handle full spectrum of HR function.


Job Description

Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Attraction, Management & Succession Planning

  • Work closely with department heads to understand the skills and competencies required for job openings to meet the organizational recruitment demands and needs.
  • Proactive in assessing and proposing talent sourcing posting advertisements or any other relevant channels or methods.
  • Select and screen candidates through phone/virtual/face to face interviews (if necessary) and arrange interviews.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department for creation of all recruitment materials, eg: recruitment posters, banners, brochures, roadshow standee, video adverts. etc
  • Manage job postings on social media, job agencies and recruitment platforms.
  • Attend and source for career seminars/ talks, campaigns, and career fair opportunities to create brand awareness and collaborations.
  • Update recruitment reports for recruitment status & strategies assessment. Including recruitment cost.
  • Assist in developing and implement HR strategies, requirements and initiatives of the organization aligned with the overall business strategy, in terms of recruitment retention, and succession planning.
  • Updating JDs on a regular basis to ensure relevancy and reflecting actual job requirements and duties.
  • On-boarding / Off-boarding process and organize staff orientation.

HR Operations & Technology

  • Handle monthly payroll, Timesheet, Commissions, Employee claims and reimbursements.
  • Monthly Salary Summary report preparation.
  • Manage and prepare employee leave records.
  • Application, renewal, and cancellation of foreign worker passes.
  • Prepare all employment-related documents, e.g., employment contact, letter of offer, etc.
  • Processing of Government Bodies claim such as Maternity claims, Childcare leave claims, NSmen claims and statutory claims.
  • Processing of Government Grants such as Skillsfutures, Pmax, PCP.
  • Preparation and filling of tax related filings such as IR8A and IR21.
  • Maintain a good and comprehensive filing system / data maintenance of all staffs’ Personal Files.
  • Support any implementation, maintenance, and changes of HRIS system or any improvement projects from time to time.
  • Responsible for various HR database and reports (e.g. monthly HR reports, MOM reports).
  • Collate information required for statutory requirements and internal reporting requirements.
  • Submit relevant government surveys.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design, oversee and implement Company’s compensation and benefits programs.

Performance Management

  • Design, formulate and manage staff appraisal process.

Learning & Development

  • Assist to identify competency gaps and propose relevant trainings program or eLearning.
  • Maintain staffs’ Training & Development records.
  • Training administration (registration for courses, payment, submission of subsidies, post course evaluation).

Organization Culture, Employee Engagement & Communications

  • Organize corporate events.
  • Review and update HR Policies and Employee Handbook.

Others

  • Handle management travel arrangements and general office administration.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in HR related disciplines.
  • At least 1 year HR experience within Beauty Industry preferred.
  • Strong in talent acquisition and management
  • IT savvy with knowledge and working experience in handling infotech HRIS, Microsoft Office and Google Suites Skills.
  • Knowledgeable in latest government grants, HR practices, Employment Laws & regulations.
  • Able to coach and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to work independently.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English & Chinese
  • Experience in implementations & change management will be a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $2,800.00 - $4,000.00 per month
