Job Description– Sales Manager (Foodservice)
The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for building and managing a successful and profitable foodservice business through product positioning, sales strategies, identifying and evaluating business opportunities and managing relationships with all stakeholders and customers. The Manager is also accountable for the smooth and cost-effective operations of running the business.
Job Description
- Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly
- Involve in full suite of the sales operations, including managing key accounts, target setting, driving sales, forecasting, merchandising, people management and excellent customer service delivery
- Keep abreast of the markets and industry trends by mapping various facets of the sector to ensure the company remains ahead through innovative business solutions and services
- Responsible for the execution of sales activities in the sales area and achieving continuous sales growth and targets
- Responsible for monitoring, review and evaluate sales KPIs performance of the sales team. Coach sales personnel by providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Managing sales budget & achieve company's objectives
- Ensure timely reporting of performance against targets and determine root cause for non-performing and performance indicators for follow up actions
- To closely monitor competitors’ sales activities, which will include their market share/penetration, pricing, promotion, product offering, etc.
- Perform other assigned ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
- Min Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing/ Business or equivalent
- Min. 5 years of experience in Foodservice business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on approach, especially in problem solving
- Customer oriented and self-driven to achieve set KPIs
