Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Manager with primary sales responsibility for South-East Asia. The Sales Manager will report and work in close co-operation with Head of Business Development, APAC. This position is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.
- To lead, manage, train, grow Organisation Asia sales in North-East Asia primarily.
- Preparation & implementation of action plans for North-East Asia sales budget.
- Secure order intake and sales volume and profit according to agreed targets
- Provide Sales forecast for the North-East Asia Market.
- To build and work closel with our Sales Agent Network in North-East Asia.
- Preparation of Framework Agreement and contracts for the customer.
- Securing customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain, improve & develop a portfolio of customers on basis of profitability.
- Identify & propose services based upon customer requirements.
- Locate & encourage new customer accounts, also in other industries (non-marine sector) for ESG,LCA and DA software application.
- Constant upgrade on the knowledge for ESG compliance and all regulations pertaining to IMO.
- Prepare and Update customer database while managing risk & liabilities for all customers.
- Develop and foster relations with other internal stakeholders.
- Optimize the cooperation between sales in Singapore organization and APAC offices.
- To attend exhibition, industrial dinner according to the needs of the company.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor in degree in Environmental/Computer Engineering/ Sales/ Marketing/ Finance/ International Management combined with several years of Sales experience within an organisation in the marine industry.
- Strong communication and negotiations skills
- Decisive, action-oriented with a strong commercial drive.
- Capable to work independently and in a team.
- Results and targets oriented mind-set.
- Excellent customer understanding Management & Leadership skills
- Willingness to travel. In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers and global agents. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, eventhough most of the meetings are held virtually.
- Min. 3–5-year experience of Services Sales Solid sales background with a proven track record of successfully implemented sales processes.
- Good knowledge of within a service minded organisation and knowledge of global sales processes.
- You have experience within strategic planning and target setting.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PPT is a must.
- Good to have skills in PowerBI, Tableau and data visualization
