Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis within the spa (Facials, Nails, Hair, Massages, Spa) and communicates regularly and efficiently with management on all operational aspects.
  • Lead Spa team to maximize treatment bookings and yield management
  • Assist with the planning and execution of business plan, capital and operating budgets.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of staff commission, payments administration of Contractors and Vendors in a timely manner for submission to Finance and Payroll
  • Conduct team training and internal audits to ensure adherence of departmental and facility policies and standards
  • Partner closely with the MarComm Team to maximize opportunities to drive awareness, usage and revenue.
  • Review Members’ feedback, market and industry news to introduce or improve services, programs that allows a successful operation that increases Member positive experiences and usage.
  • Ensures prompt resolution to Member complaints and develops communication channels that promotes Member engagement.
  • Manage the operations and retail department’s procurement process, allocation, supplies, inventories and purchasing.
  • Coordinate with Police Licensing, CaseTrust and CASE appointed auditors on ME License and CaseTrust renewals and to ensure timeliness and compliance of Spa license.
  • Regular competitive analysis and benchmarking with hospitality and related industries for products, program and services.
  • Identify opportunities for both IT and non-IT systems and processes that can enhances the respective business unit’s efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Hospitality or Spa Management will be an advantage
  • 5 years’ experience in a management role, administration and operations.
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Spa Operations preferably with knowledge on hair and nails
  • Knowledge of government guidelines for ME License / Case Trust to maintain Spa Category 1
  • Analytical skills - ability to read, analyze, interpret and write reports on financial positions.
  • Planning, developing and implementing policies, procedures
  • Relevant experience in retail functions, analysis, pricing and stock controls
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, able to work well in a team
