Project Coordinator

  • Responsible for project system design, equipment installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.
  • Implement and ensure proper project management, structure, and processes to drive scope estimation, prioritization and on time delivery of new and existing projects, including proposing and providing quotations for Variation Orders.
  • To liaise with subcontractors/Civil PE/Licensed Cable Detection Worker/Licensed Electrical Worker to perform roadworks and relocation of equipment.
  • Must be able to attend any operational issues, schedule site meetings and execute all site works.
  • In-charge of managing and handling the implementation of successful system integration projects.
  • Procurement of project equipment, comparison quotes and preparation of Purchase Requisition
  • Ensure resource allocation effectively, with high efficiency and sufficiency to complete project.
  • Communicate product development and technical activities to sales team and operation team as well as liaising and coordinating with the subcontractors and customers with regards to the implementation of the project, including price negotiation and managing client’s expectations.
  • Assist in preparing project documentations for submission
  • Handle customer’s inquiry, request and complaints in a professional manner and efficient way.
  • Proactive in problem solving and following up and close all incidents, issues and requests timely.
  • Operate company vehicle to performs site work at stipulated working hours.
  • To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times
  • Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company’s KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly
  • Perform Ad-Hoc duties ( eg : Help in tender site visit & presales discussion) as and when assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Preferably with 1-2 years relevant working experience in Project Management.
  • NITEC/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field of study
  • Required to travel to site for meetings, site coordination and site work execution.
  • Class 2B/3 License preferred
  • Possess strong documentation control and compilation
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines, task oriented and meticulous
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Client oriented and ability to work independently yet a team player.
