Position Summary


The Executive, Community Integration (Business Development) should be a dynamic individual to drive new charity merchandise development, conduct market research, and implement sales strategies. You are to facilitate fundraising and sponsorship efforts, oversee content creation for web and social media, and coordinate media relations. Other responsibilities include organization of events and contribute to marketing plans while providing regular reports.


We are looking for a motivated candidate with a passion for social impact, possessing strong project management skills and a keen eye for market trends. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, excellent communication abilities, and experience in fundraising or corporate engagement. Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team is essential.


Job Description


  • Drive the development of new charity merchandise including sourcing and procurement
  • Conduct market research, and identify new market opportunities and customer needs for charity merchandise
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in B2C channels
  • Support fundraising and sponsorship especially in areas of individual donations
  • Manage corporate content creation for website and social media to increase engagement of individual donors
  • Drive the development of marketing collaterals and ensure adherence to branding guidelines
  • Liaise with vendors on the production of marketing and business development materials
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of media relations, including preparation of press releases and media kits for distribution to media, and drafting and collating responses to media queries.
  • Organise and attend events to create public awareness such as school talks, conferences, seminars, receptions, road shows and exhibitions
  • Contribute to and develop marketing plans and strategies
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to supervisor and Executive Director
  • Perform any specific projects provided by supervisor and Executive Director from time to time

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree, proficient in design, familiar with Canva or other design applications.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


Permanent full time position.

Hybrid work arrangement.

21 days Annual Leave.
