Overview - Role and Department:

The Compliance and Governance department are currently looking for an experienced Sustainability and Governance Manager to join the team led by the Compliance and Governance Manager. You will work with the team to achieve the highest standards of sustainability monitoring and reporting for the Group.

As Sustainability and ESG reporting requirements increase around the world, Weybourne is looking for a Manager to work within our Compliance and Governance team to build a comprehensive framework and timeline of ESG reporting requirements and disclosures across the Weybourne Group, in both Singapore and the UK.

This individual will identify and translate incoming ESG reporting requirements relevant to Weybourne and build a framework for our reporting obligations. As well as working on Weybourne’s ESG disclosures, the role holder will work with others in the team on the creation of an annual ESG report, and support related projects and communications.

We are looking for candidates with strong awareness of the growing global ESG regulatory and reporting landscape who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This role will work across multiple cross-functional teams and our advisory partners to create the map for ESG reporting requirements, enhance reputation, and contribute to business success.

This position reports to the Compliance and Governance Manager and is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

As the Sustainability Manager - Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting you will be responsible for sustainability strategy development, creating the framework identifying and translating relevant global ESG corporate sustainability reporting requirements and disclosures for Weybourne.

You will work alongside key stakeholders both internal and external and support the Compliance and Governance Manager in the creation and delivery of the ESG reporting strategy.

  • Develop and manage corporate sustainability reporting and processes.
  • Collaborate on ESG reporting, data integration, and strategy alignment.
  • Lead corporate sustainability strategy and ESG initiatives.
  • Analyse industry and company-wide reporting gaps, benchmark best practices, and apply insights strategically.
  • Maintain expertise in global ESG trends and advise on regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor emerging ESG disclosure requirements, develop compliance roadmaps, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Participate in materiality assessments.
  • Support ESG impact metrics tracking.
  • Continuously monitor best practice ESG reporting to drive ESG strategy.
  • Review data for completeness, accuracy, and trends to improve ESG reporting.
  • Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Communications, Law or other ESG-related discipline.
  • Demonstrable recent experience in equivalent role.
  • Experience and high level of awareness of non-financial reporting and ESG standards and reporting frameworks, including GRI, TCFD, SDGs, SECR, EU CSRD.
  • Experience with carbon accounting a plus.
  • Familiarity with ESG rating indices and sustainability reporting trends.
  • Ability to translate complex, distributed and varied information to meet Weybourne’s ESG reporting responsibilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and develop deep content knowledge quickly.
  • Additional skills in technology, finance, and systems-level thinking a plus.
