Gracehaven Fostering seeks to provide a safe and secure home for foster children and young persons who are in need of care and protection.Appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in November 2017, Gracehaven Fostering seeks to partner foster families to provide an interim or long term alternative care in a home-based environment for foster children whose parents are unable to care for them.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Children in foster care need passionate, skillful advocates. They find them in their foster care social workers, who oversee their cases and help children, and their families, manage the challenges of the foster care system.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all cases under FA to ensure good service delivery of quality and professional standard
- To provide regular clinical supervision and case discussion to social workers
- Supervision and support for the Foster Child and Young Person.
- Supervision and support for Foster Parents
- Assessment of new Foster Parents
- To support fostering team in planning and execution of outreach events aimed at recruiting new foster parents and volunteers
- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from a recognisable university
- Must be registered with SASW Accreditation Board
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in working with children and youths and their families

Mon to Friday - 9am to 6 pm
