Job Overview
As a Procurement Executive specializing in F&B, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of ingredients, products, and supplies necessary for our culinary operations. Your knowledge of the F&B industry, supplier relationships, and negotiation skills will be essential in ensuring the seamless flow of supplies to support our culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the effective management and control of all procurement activities.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Ensure good and efficient support is provided for the different brands’ operations and purchasing requirements.
- Regularly and proactively source new F&B suppliers for better quality products, payment terms, and prices.
- Ensure overall quality & quantity management of stock, cost, product ranges, stock rotation, turnover, regulatory & compliances.
- Work with Operations Director and Business Managers, Logistics, Marketing, and Product Development teams to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands.
- Build rapport with suppliers and consistently monitor their performance.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain or its equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Systematic and process driven.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels.
- Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong supplier contacts within the industry would be a plus.
- Bilingualism is preferred (English and Chinese) (Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese-speaking Operations Director and Business Managers, Logistics, Marketing, and Product Development teams to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands).
- Candidates with F&B procurement experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidates who are able to start immediately or within short notice will be advantageous.
