About The Role

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our dedicated team of Orientation and Mobility Specialists and IT Trainer. As a team, all of you will support clients with vision impairment holistically through client-centred rehabilitation programmes individually or in groups. By harnessing your knowledge and skills on casework, group work and community resources, you will work with clients’ immediate community to enable a conducive environment for them to be independent and attain their life goals. When necessary, you will support clients to connect with government and community resources.
This is a new and exciting role in GDS, offering opportunities to create positive changes for staff and clients. You will work alongside the Orientation and Mobility Specialists and IT Trainers and report to the General Manager and Director in charge.
