- Facilitate the approval and acceptance of proposed Ratings, excluding Petty Officers, for manning offices.
- Verify and review invoices and disbursements, excluding travel-related invoices.
- Collaborate with Vessels and Manning agents to plan crew relief operations and maintain a 90-day planner.
- Validate the qualifications and documents of sea personnel candidates according to the company/owner’s recruitment standards.
- Ensure that all crew members joining and sailing on ships comply with the training and certification requirements of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended, and the Flag State statutory regulations.
- Communicate with Manning agents regarding Flag State documentation requirements.
- Monitor the validity of documents and licenses of officers and crew members using the STCW monitoring sheet provided by the vessel.
- Coordinate crew change activities with Vessels, Manning agents, and Crew handling agents.
- Inform and obtain approval from the owner when necessary for candidate selection.
- Update and maintain records of the crew list and sea staff.
- Maintain the crew matrix for tanker vessels.
- Coordinate officer briefings, either through video/audio-link systems or in-person briefings in Singapore, as well as at the owner’s and charterer’s offices.
- Verify various invoices from port agents and the Statement of General Expense (SGA).
- Arrange Crew Transfer Money (CTM).
- Perform any other occasional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ideally, possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
