Temasek Laboratories@NTU (TL@NTU) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant.
We are a cross-disciplinary team of psychologists and data scientists working on projects related to credibility assessment, counterterrorism, and cyberpsychology under the Key Emerging Technologies cluster within TL@NTU. We carry out exploratory research to keep abreast with potential disruptive technologies that may have a significant impact on future defense systems, to develop a competitive advantage or to solve some extremely challenging problems encountered for our defense partners. We collaborate heavily with our partners from the academia, both local and overseas.
We are hiring a Research Assistant for a credibility assessment project. The research assistant will perform a variety of functions related to research. The candidate is expected to work closely with the project team to perform task assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in ocular related measurement and data collection
- Conduct literature reviews and technology scan/assessment
- Assist with the research design and statistical analyses
- Assist with writing progress and final research reports
- Contribute to research publications and presentations
- Engage in the dissemination of research findings/results
- Perform administrative work associated with HSSIR
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Psychology or its equivalent
- Proficiency in MS office, statistical analysis using SPSS, R or Stata
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines is a must.
- Strong team player with the capacity to learn and work independently.
