Role and responsibilities
· Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. In addition,
· Create 2 to 3 years of enterprise application vision and strategy for architecture including software platforms, shared solutions, real-time and Batch processing.
· Provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test, and deploy phases, and reengaged to perform benefits realization. Partner with key stakeholders and proactively consult with projects regarding Architecture concerns and direction.
· Develop and support the design of application architecture components, by defining architecture and design, and documentation of architecture-relevant system or software changes or enhancements to all assigned systems.
· Accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case.
· Utilizes or develops reference architectures that fit within the overall architectural blueprint for Architecture.
· Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
· Ensure the quality of the developed solution from an architecture perspective and conformance of the delivered solution.
Skills and experience
· Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science / Related IT Discipline
· At least 10 years of experience in Multiple IT disciplines,
· With 5 years in Application Development, System Integration and Management, and Information Analysis.
· TOGAF Certification will be an added advantage.
· Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
· Good understanding of strategic new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
· Familiarity with agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks.
· Proven ability to upwardly influence the strategic direction of IT solutions.
· Ability to work in environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery.
· With a good track record of translating organizational strategy into actionable technology solutions that drive operational excellence while enabling synergistic growth and organizational scale.
· Proven track record as Senior Leader with experience building and leading an enterprise application and architecture discipline in a large enterprise, including Integration discipline.
· Ability to work with developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment.
· Excellent analytical and technical skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
