SKILLS
- Indepth knowledge of Maritime Regulations of International Maritime Organisation rules/regs.
- Safety management implementation, managing safety procedures, conducting safety drills, etc
- Risk Assessments and Incident Investigation
- Ability to perform ship inspections to conform to PSC / AMSA / USCG checks.
- Leadership quality skills and commitment to work and motivate colleagues and sea staffs.
- Proble solvings in shipboard matters such as equipment, cargoes, stability, weather assessment, anti-piracy.
- Ability to manage and control operationa budgets effeciively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be ex-Master with sailing experiences in dry vessels inparticualr Bulkers and Containers
- Must be experienced Marine Superintendent with minimum 3 years experience with shipowners and/or shipmanagers company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Willing to travel abroad for shipboard inspections and/or Internal Audits.
- Willing to carry out occasional short sea trips only if required by Management/Owners
- Experienced in dealing with RightShip for all vessel close-out and incident reporting matters.
- Experienced in particular with Capesize bulkers loading operations in Western Australia
