Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial, procurement, budgetary and contractual aspects of QS department.
- Review and introduce new budget control and procurement guidelines
- Project budget forecast, monitoring and reporting of any variance and adopt measures to ensure expenditure is kept within project budget
- Manage all contractual matters relating to additional cost and time with client including submission of claim notification and substantiation in accordance with contract provision
- Provide contractual advice to project team on various claim issues and prepare claim submissions to client
- Assess and negotiate cost of change request by client and obtain best value from procurement of works
- Negotiate with subcontractors on commercial terms and conditions as well as on contractual claims - Review of subcontract documents and tender returns to ensure project requirements are captured to minimize claims and ensure smooth project execution by subcontractors
- Regular management reporting and presentation of budget, procurement and contract issues
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Civil Engineering
- Experience Infrastructure Project
- Excellent exposure in Computer Skills
