Duties & Responsibilities:
1.1 Overseeing Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) Departments.
1.2 To lead / coach a team of section head / engineers / executive in their skill / knowledge development to contribute effectively towards company’s quality policy, goals and growth.
1.3 Technical lead of a key technology, process, product or manufacturing operations in providing practical business & technical solutions.
1.4 Responsible for project scheduling, coordination and successful project execution. Manages day-to-day operational aspect of a project, track & review the status of the project & address issues as appropriate.
1.5 Technical interface with relevant internal and external working groups involved to ensure fulfilment of project deliverables.
1.6 To initiate, introduce, develop and implement continuous improvement programmes such as QCC, cost reduction, process capabilities, yield, efficiencies, etc.
1.7 To organize trouble shooting on major problems encountered and implement process changes and improvements where necessary.
1.8 To be responsible for developing staff competencies through effective training, communication and motivation.
1.9 Perform other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time
Job Requirements:
1.1. Degree in Engineering / Manufacturing. MBA is an added advantage.
1.2. Minimum 10 years working experience in Leadframe manufacturing with similar managerial position. Experience in etching manufacturing process is a MUST.
1.3. Experience in stamping and plating manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
1.4. Demonstrable experience in Project Management & accomplishments for multi-site, technology / operations transfers.
1.5. Knowledge in Quality System, ISO 9000 or TS16949, ISO 14001, 8D, FMEA and DOE.
1.6. Mature personally with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
