- Develop, identify, and create new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Good understanding of the company’s products like Switchboards, Transformers, Distribution Boards, explosion-proof products and Automation and its applications to match company solutions to customers’ needs.
- Good understanding of applications in hazardous (classified) areas and similar unique applications found in the oil and gas, marine and petrochemical industry.
- Respond to customer’s inquiries, prepare quotations and proposals. Provide pre-sales and after-sales support to customers.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth functioning and update, provide monthly sales forecast and progress reports as and when required.
- Plan sales visits, customer calls and update summary sales report
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a Nitec or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
