The Engineer (Air Conditioning) will play a pivotal role in our organization's HVAC/VRV/Chilled Water and other relevant refrigeration and air con system operations. The successful candidate will contribute to system design, troubleshooting, and provide technical expertise to support our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project planning and execution included resource management, control and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants for Building Construction Works.
· Install, test, and commission air conditioning systems in compliance with design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
· Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and necessary repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, replacing or repairing defective components as needed.
· Evaluate existing systems for potential upgrades or retrofitting to improve performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with current regulations.
· Ensure all work is conducted in adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
· Attend Technical & progress meetings with the owner.
· Visit the site to solve interferences during construction and updating of As-Built drawings according to site.
· Prioritize safety protocols and ensure that work is conducted in a manner that minimizes environmental impact.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members as required.
· Conduct training sessions for staff on proper use and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
· Assist in the procurement of necessary equipment, parts, and materials for projects.
· Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies.
Requirements:
· Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry
· Relevant certification or licensure in HVAC systems/VRV/Cold room or air conditioning engineering.
· Strong knowledge of design and implementation of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning principles.
· Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
