Responsibilities
Self-Assessment/Audit
- Single point of contact for coordination for self-assessment and audit process
- Follow-up on audit outstanding/remediation points and actions
- Ensure successful outcome of internal and external auditors, regulatory inspections and drive required analysis and changes
Operations
- Periodical review external guidelines and conduct internal policies / SOPs to ensure adequate and effective management controls on corporate banking business
- Coordination with head office coach teams and operations team to ensure deployment and execution of improvised processes and systems
- Involved in system enhancement projects, perform UAT test and ensure successful implementation streamline and improve workflow processes
- Assist in Business reviews, resources analysis and budgetary process
Legal
- Ensure consistency in deployment of processes and standards (e.g. standard terms and conditions)
- Ensure dissemination of ad hoc issues detected in documentation/ operations in a consistent manner
- Single point of contact for feedback/response from corporate banking on proposed policies, procedures and other ad hoc issues (to ensure accuracy, consistency and no duplication)
Risk/Compliance
- Effective management of all aspects of business risk, and work to mitigate and effectively manage risks within the business
- Single point of coordination for roll out of any risk policies and compliance actions
- Single point of contact/coordination for customer due diligence KYC account opening and periodic review process (e.g. tracking progress, refresh docs, etc.)
- Oversee client prioritization and pipeline management across various product lines, handle data request (e.g. pipeline, RWA)
- Single point of contact/coordination for operational risk related matters and risk / regulator’s request for feedback and credit actions.
Job Requirement
- Prior experience in banking in management, operations, risk or client coverage for 6 to 8 years.
- Sound knowledge of core commercial banking products, credit and lending, trade services, treasury, and corporate banking products, local regulations and exposure to corporate banking industry
- Strong interpersonal, business development and managerial skills, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiar with account documentation, due diligence and AML regulatory requirements
- A self-starter with an excellent attitude, motivation and an ability to learn quickly
