Job Scope:
- Physical commodity trading in Fertilizer, fertilizer raw materials, Chemicals, minerals, metals, petrochemicals and industrial raw materials and capital goods.
- Establish and grow a personal desk/revenue stream of clients in the physical commodity industry, driving P&L
- Identify new business opportunities and increase trade activities. Assist and work on other products that have potential to be standalone business or spot opportunities.
- To develop self-sustainable lines of business in the areas of commodities and related areas as per company policy from time to time.
- Develop trading strategies to boost P&L and achieve both long term business development goals
- Work closely with back office and operational staff to ensure smooth logistics/end to end supply chain of your trades
- Collaborate closely with the management team on new products/geographies and pricing
- Build and maintain relationships within the target markets
- Negotiate and conclude trade transactions in your specialist commodity area, ensuring end to end/back-to-back trade flow is timely, accurate and profitable
- Conduct market research, track market movements, and create strategy to expand physical commodities business globally
- Communicate and increase awareness of Company’s profile and branding in the marketplace
- Evaluating trading process and making suggestions/solutions to improve the process
- The responsibilities include but are not limited to market development, distribution management, negotiation, contracting and resolution of issues. Market assessment, strategy and client management are also essential element. Job will entail to travel overseas, and related expenses will be reimbursed based on the company rules and regulations.
- In additional to the duties set out above, you may be required to assist in the performance of other related duties that may be considered necessary in respect of your employment. You may also be transferred and posted to any other place/s during your employment with the company to discharge of your duties.
- You will also be involved In the formulation and implementation of company’s policies as well as assisting in the development of long-range objectives. In the course of your work, you are expected to effectively manage all responsibility assigned to you as well as liaise with Suppliers/Buyers, Commercial Organizations etc.
- Coordinate with Internal teams to accomplish initiated tasks according to the planning schedule, including systems integration and policies & Procedures.
