Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute a DevOps strategy with a strong emphasis on IaC to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Select, implement, and manage IaC tools and technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, to enable infrastructure automation.
- Design and build the DevOps platform and onboard the applications.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the CI/CD pipeline, improving the speed and quality of software delivery.
- Implement and monitor monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the performance, availability, and security of applications and infrastructure.
- Incorporate security best practices into the DevOps process to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in the DevOps process.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the software development and delivery process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying relevant innovations and supporting the development, build, test, release, and operations phases through innovative use of the latest technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Lead or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and automating cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in DevOps and proficient in Python Programming, Power Shell Scripting, YAML/YML and Shell (bash).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
