Management & Admin Manager (Private Equity)

We focus on private equity real estate across South East Asia especially Singapore, Cambodia and Shanghai. You will be responsible for the overall management and operation its fund with an investment focus in Singapore’s industrial sector. He/She will work with senior management and key stakeholders to document the overall business, investment, and operational strategies.


Role Overview:

This position will have the primary responsibility of managing fund accounting team(s) providing the full range of fund administration services to real estate clients. This individual will be reporting directly to the Director of the Real Estate team. A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:


Responsibilities:

  • Originating, evaluating, underwriting and executing acquisition, development and divestment opportunities in Singapore, with primary focus in Industrial sector.
  • Assist with preparation of investment proposals, information memorandums and presentation decks; business plans and budgets, day-to-day operations of the Fund and documentation.
  • Assist the senior management team in preparation of reports to the Investment Committee to obtain requisite approvals for all investments and divestments; build, develop, update financial models for portfolio valuation, performance assessment and analysis, assist in relation to compliance with applicable regulatory provisions, other relevant legislation etc.
  • You will be supporting process improvements, system upgrade/implementation and other ad-hoc project, such as acquisition and other project as and when required.
  • Ensure accurate control of documentation associated with the functions of the Fund and Investment Advisory committee reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a university degree in Banking/ Finance/ Mathematics/ Accounting/Economics, qualified accountant or other relevant qualification preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in the fund industry servicing real estate clients with experience managing staff.
  • Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly asset.
  • Experience with team dynamics including engagement, moral, performance management.


Profile of Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role: 3-5 years
  • Strong command of the English & Mandarin language for internal & external communications and engagement
  • Good financial and analytical skills preferred
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills, and a good team player
  • Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation)
  • Positive contributor to team in terms of ideas and knowledge
  • Willing to travel (Cambodia & Shanghai)
