JOB SUMMARY

- The HR Executive (Compensation & Benefits) will be part of the HR department of YMCA of Singapore. This role will play a crucial part in managing major HR projects, including HRIS administration, annual performance appraisal, salary review, and group insurance administration. For the initial 3-6 months, this position will be required to learn and perform the full spectrum of payroll operations, and thereafter, serve as a backup for payroll processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Annual Performance Appraisal:
- Collaborate with all departments to coordinate and facilitate the annual performance appraisal exercise.
- Assist in communicating appraisal guidelines and timelines to employees.
- Analyze performance appraisal data for insights and recommendations.
Salary Review:
- Participate in the annual salary review process, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports.
- Assist in developing salary structure recommendations.
Group Insurance Administration:
- Oversee the administration of group insurance programmes, including enrolment and claims processing.
- Respond to employee queries related to insurance benefits.
- Work closely with insurance providers to resolve issues and enhance benefits.
Payroll Processing:
- Perform full spectrum of payroll operations during the initial 3-6 months of this role, thereafter, serve as a backup for payroll processing.
- Payroll administration, execution and reconciliation including tax clearance and relevant monthly statutory submissions and requirements, including government funding and claims matters.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll runs and address any payroll-related queries, including collaborating with Finance to maintain payroll compliance.
HRIS Administration:
- Co-lead in the management and maintenance of the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the HRIS.
- Generate reports and provide data analytics support to aid in decision-making
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Previous experience in Payroll, HRIS, compensation, or benefits administration is a plus but not mandatory.
