Brief Summary
- Local-based logistics company to Defence, Government and Healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end closing activities.
- Record GL transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Extract data and provide analysis for management.
- Compile accurate tax-related (GST) information for the organisation.
- Calculate GST liabilities of the organisation.
- Provide accurate and timely GST returns to the relevant authorities.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances, and audit findings.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy and an ACCA, at least 5 years of experience in accounting or Big 4.
- Experience with using SAP will be advantageous.
