Job Description
- Planning of in house drivers' schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with in house drivers and promptly addressing and resolving issues to minimize delays.
- Coordinate shipping arrangement with internal and external customers, suppliers, transport company and shipping forwarder.
- Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
- Negotiate and select the rate with shipping line, freight forwarder and transport company.
- Liaise and assist in customers and suppliers enquires.
- Building and maintaining strong customer satisfaction with quick response time to all customers inquires, including timely handling follow up on quotations, orders, backorders and customer complaints.
- Proactively update customer on status of enquires.
- Handle invoice discrepancies in a timely manner to support sales as well accounts in accounts receivables.
- Preparing purchase order and liaise closely with suppliers.
- Assisting to source new competitive quote from suppliers.
- Executing expertise in cost comparisons to meet the Operations' requirement with the interest of company in terms of quality and service
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE N/O Level or Diploma or proven working experience in the related field.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to start within a short notice would be preferred.
