Join Western Union as an Assistant to the Retail Operations Manager.

In this role, you will focus on retail market initiatives rather than day to day operations. The candidate will work as a coordinator with internal and external stakeholders for the retail initiatives to bring more traffic to the branches. You will manage the Branch in-charged at 20% of the time. You will have the important task of providing market information on the locations with good traffic for the business and responsible for the coordination of tasks like branches renovation, launching campaigns as well as promotions for locations. You will suggest operational improvement initiatives to business leaders, ensuring these are both cost-effective and compliant. The ideal candidate will be experienced in some retail management with a keen eye on good locations for heavy footfall.


Role Responsibilities:

· Facilitate collaboration with both internal and external partners to enhance network traffic for business growth.

· Conduct corridor analysis, Product evaluations, and gather consumer feedback to enhance the Western Union Value Proposition.

· Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies, foster consumer loyalty, and execute promotional campaigns and branded digital initiatives.

· Work alongside ICs to give Market Insights and specific reporting which helps in improving performance.

· Benchmark WU against Competition in terms of Pricing and Product enhancement in Digital and Retail.


Role Requirements:

· Possess a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the Retail, Remittance, Banking, or Fintech, Telco sectors.

· Hold a recognized degree in Business and Management.

· Demonstrated leadership experience of at least 3 years is required, with an advantage if you have knowledge foreign exchange business.

· Great communicator with attention to detail and have a proactive mindset towards improvement initiatives.

· Demonstrate good coordination and prioritization skills with a strong customer-oriented approach.

· Flexible to work on weekends.
