About Us:

Singapore Aquatics is a member of World Aquatics, Asia Aquatics and South-East Asia Swimming Federation (SEAF).

The objectives of the Association includes:

  • to promote, encourage, organise and develop Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, Open Water Swimming and other related aquatic activities in Singapore.
  • to organize aquatic events for Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming and Open Water Swimming
  • to sponsor, support and participate in any national, regional or international competitions Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, Open Water Swimming and other related aquatic activities;

Responsibilities:

As a Coach Development Intern, you will play a pivotal role in managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth course delivery, workshop coordination, and program support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Course and Workshop Administration: Manage scheduling, registration, and evaluation processes for training courses and workshops.
  • Membership Management: Handle membership enrollment, renewals, and maintain accurate records.
  • Database Maintenance: Keep precise records and databases of participants, coaches, coach developers, workshop attendees, and National Swimming program participants.
  • Participant Support: Provide assistance and support to all stakeholders during course delivery, workshops, and program processes, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Course Material Preparation: Assist in preparing course materials and instructional aids, such as handouts and visual materials.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and manage logistics for course delivery, workshops, and the National Swimming program, including arranging meeting/training spaces and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering productive relationships with coaches, coach developers, members, participants, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and technologies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic Creative (Canva, Photoshop, video editing etc)
