We are seeking a Senior TBM Specialist with extensive experience in the Apptio IT Planning module. The candidate should possess expert knowledge in managing, maintaining, and enhancing the Apptio module, ensuring its smooth operation across the organization. This senior position requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with users, address their concerns, and continuously seek improvements to the system.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Module Maintenance & Enhancement:
- Regularly review and update the configuration of the Apptio IT Planning module based on business requirements.
- Implement new features and processes in Apptio as required by the organization.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the system for better performance and user experience.
2. User Support & Training:
- Collaborate with users to understand their needs and issues related to the Apptio module.
- Provide prompt resolutions to user queries and problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing users, ensuring they are well-versed with the features and functionalities of the Apptio system.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other TBM team members to ensure alignment and smooth integration with other systems and modules.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and requirements related to the Apptio module.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership, providing updates, reports, and recommendations regarding the Apptio system.
4. Data Management:
- Oversee regular data loads into the Apptio IT Planning module.
- Help driving data quality and ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data, identifying any discrepancies or anomalies.
- Optimize and streamline the data loading processes, recommending improvements where necessary.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, Finance or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or business management positions, with at least 3 years focused on the Apptio IT Planning module.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and maintaining Apptio or similar systems in a large organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, financial planning, and IT service management is a plus.
- Certifications related to Apptio and TBM are preferred.
