JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
- Collect Delivery Order documents from customer or in-house at the time of product delivery and collection
- Providing customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
- Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, lorries, forklifts, etc.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines and effectively prioritize and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Assist in the management of the day to day operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 3 years of experience.
- Willing to do rotating shift work.
- Able to work longer hours (when required/necessary).
- Preferrable with knowledge of GPS equipment.
- Capabilities of delivery route planning.
