The Commissioning Planner plays a crucial role in the successful execution of oil and gas projects by developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive commissioning plans. This position involves collaborating with various project stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are well-coordinated and executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Commissioning Planning:
· Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure the systematic and efficient transition from construction to operational phases.
· Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to gather relevant information and incorporate it into the commissioning plan.
Risk Assessment:
· Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during commissioning activities.
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all commissioning activities.
Stakeholder Coordination:
· Work closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure alignment of commissioning activities with project timelines and objectives.
· Facilitate communication between different teams to resolve issues and optimize commissioning processes.
Documentation:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of commissioning plans, procedures, and progress reports.
· Generate comprehensive reports for management review, providing insights into commissioning milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
Quality Assurance:
· Implement quality assurance measures to verify that commissioning activities adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
· Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and rectify any deviations from established procedures.
Resource Management:
· Coordinate with resource planning teams to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials required for commissioning are available as per the schedule.
· Optimize resource allocation to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
Training and Development:
· Provide guidance and support to commissioning teams to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Qualification/ Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Or related working experience
