Job Description
- Provide guidance and support to overseas team to ensure financial operation is delivered according to Group financial guidelines and timelines
- Prepare and/or review monthly sub-group consolidation and corporate costs. This will include review of monthly management accounts of the subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates, perform financial analysis against budget and forecast on monthly basis and explanation of variance and trend.
- Manage sub-group annual budgeting and adhoc forecasting processes
- Support investment and divestment activities
- Liaise with Group Treasury on funding requirements and Fixed Deposit placements
- Review financial statements, ECI and income tax computation prepared by team members for Singapore SPVs
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors on monthly, quarterly and year end reporting requirements
- Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed companies and/or real estate sector
- Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards SFRS(I)
- Excellent team worker with strong communication, people-management and organisation skills
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics, SAP, Yardi will be viewed favourably
