Integra Petrochemicals Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, is looking for a TRADE FINANCE EXECUTIVE
Your tasks:
- Prepare letters of credit (LC) in line with contractual terms in a timely manner. Ensure the LC draft is acceptable by our financing bank and the beneficiary prior to issuance.
- Coordinate LCs with the internal operations department and the banks.
- Reconcile daily bank positions.
- Follow up and execute payments under import LCs and against documents, ensuring loans are in place with the bank to satisfy working capital requirements.
- Maintain accuracy of an overall system of transactions.
- Liaising with the contracts team and following up on contractual issues.
- Extend support/ assistance to the Head of Credit & Compliance with reviews, ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives to drive continual improvements.
Your profile:
- Min. 3 years of working experience in the LC department in a bank or with a commodity trading company.
- Solid knowledge of Trade finance and Letters of Credit
- High internal and external customer orientation and ability to work independently and in a team in an international environment
- Accurate and positive working attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – company language is English
