Job duties & responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and leading guest to seating table
- Taking orders, recommending drinks and dishes, up selling, and taking orders
- Serving food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage, and other food orders in a professional manner.
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the restaurant’s service area.
- Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests.
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for serving.
- Provide good table service for guest.
- Performing duties example delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris from tables and more.
- Performing host duties when required, taking reservations etc.
- Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food, always ensuring a high standard of food hygiene.
- Perform day-to-day restaurant activities efficiently.
- Perform multi-task duties & roles during events, examples working in bar, assisting in kitchen etc.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as designated.
