Senior Specialist (HR, Data Protection, PDPA)

You will be the OD Business Partner to support line managers in a proactive approach to the Talent Acquisition and daily HR operations. In addition to your OD partner role, you will be tasked to work with stakeholders to help e2i to meet data protection obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) through transparent data protection policies, systems and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Your key roles are as follows:

OD Business Partner

  • Partner to e2i’s business group and work closely with HQ’s HR Business Partner on manpower related matters including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding new hires, staff engagement, learning and development, staff welfare and benefits.
  • You will be the go-to person for HR-related enquiries by the employees.

PDPA

  • Support Data Protection Officer (DPO) in PDPA related matters
  • Liaise with PDPC on data protection matters
  • Review data management framework and processes to align them with the PDPA
  • Update PDPA policies and investigation processes
  • Guide and liaise with the PDPA Ambassadors in e2i
  • Conduct investigations into breaches
  • Provide advisory support to stakeholders
  • Liaise with training provider to organise regular PDPA training
  • Communicate updates on PDPA matters to staff
  • Foster a data protection culture
  • Manage personal data protection related queries and complaints

Job Requirements

  • Min 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build influence and communicate effectively across different levels and groups
  • Self-starter, highly pro-active and a team-player
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Legal knowledge and Data Protection/Privacy certifications are a plus

Designation will be commensurate with experience.
