As a Technician, MTSU Operations supporting MTSU Operations, you will be trusted to assist in Mold & Tools Operations work. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Execution of MTSU tasks to meet production requests in PP mold/ lenses related issues
- Ensure GMP/ GDP compliance, HSE, Quality and Alcon Corporate policy compliance maintained.
- Support, initiate and execute improvement project in HSE, 5S and MTSU operation processes.
- Resolve low yield, defect issues related to PP molds, inserts and tool plates.
- Execution of MTSU tasks. Example;- PP molds and inserts inspection/ measurement, Inserts and Tool plates set up/ cleaning, Data collection/ monitoring/ reporting & documentation, Equipment operation/ maintenance/ calibration.
- Able to perform basic molding machine fault troubleshooting and provide support to Technical team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- WSQ Generic Manufacturing skills or equivalent, Higher NITEC, Diploma in mechanical/ electrical or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years working experience in mechanical, technical environment.
